Little Sister:
September-October 2012
This is a picture of my little sister that I used scribble drawing to make. Scribble drawing is were you take a pen and make different values to create a picture. To create this picture you first want to take a white peace of paper and draw a two inch box grid on the paper, then you can do the same to the black and white picture that your drawing. When your done doing that then you can start drawing your picture (you will want to start drawing with pencil first then when your done pen). then when your ready to draw with pen you want to make sure you don't trace lines your only using shades to create a 3D look. Its a really hard project to do but once your done and you have the finished product it looks great!
Global Warming:
October 2012
We started this project by picking a topic that was an issue going on right now in the world. For my topic I choose "Global Warming" then with this topic you were suppose to go threw magazines and find clippings of things that went with your topic, and with those clippings create values/shades. then with the paint colors you were going to pick colors that represented your topic I choose warmer colors to show that Global Warming was making the earth warmer.
Hallway Drawing:
November 2012
For this project we got to leave the ART room and explore the hallways. I choose to draw the hallway that lead to the guidance office. During this project we sat at the end of a hallway and drew what we saw, and were try to make everything proportionate and strait by using a ruler. I enjoyed this project because we got to leave the classroom. If I had the chance to do this project again I would make my shading a lot darker.
City Drawing:
December 2012
For this project we were suppose to pick a theme for a city or just a city you wanted to draw and replicate it by using two or three point perspectives. Along with that we were also suppose to pick an object to add color to, I choose a horizon. This is my favorite perspective drawings I did because I like how the horizon turned out. If I had the choose to do this project again I would add a little more detail to it by adding a car or people walking.
Water Colors:
January 2013
This project was really short but really fun! We walked around the room picking water colors that were next to each other on the color wheel, and dripped or splattered them onto are paper. Then the next day we were to take a pen and see if we could find an abstract object or animal and shade it in and make it pop out. When I stared at my water color picture I saw a horse.
Cookie Drawing:
January 2013
This is a picture that I drew of the steps of eating a cookie. The first box is what the cookie looked like before I ate it. The second box is a drawing of a bight out of the cookie. Then the last box is just crumbs. This was another shorter project but we got to enjoy a treat while drawing it!
First Drawing:
September 2012
This is the first drawing I drew in ART we drew this so we could compare are last drawing in ART to are first to see how much we have improved and learned. I think that I have improved a lot sense this drawing, and have also learned a lot!
